Pong (Processing)

Nicolas and I made a pong game in Processing.

My experience, and a huge thanks to Sherol and our TA´S

During the summer of 2016, I  participated in Stanford’s Pre-Collegiate Studies program. I chose the Video Game Design course, our Stanford teacher was Sherol Chen, she has worked at Google and other cool projects. I would like to thank Miss Sherol for all the time and effort she put in all her clases.

During this program we had two TA’s, Manuel and Hernan, they were always very helpful and willing. I would like to thank the for that.

My First Twine game

A few days ago I made my first twine game with Vicente and Felipe. We made it on a website called Twinery. I really enjoyed making it. It was about a man who had to find water. Throughout the game you had many options. All of them leading to death except one. A very fun decision game to play would be Zork.  Although it is hard it is also very fun to play.

Final Presentation

In my final presentation I will talk about Processing, Arduino and Binary.

Processing

Processing is a software allows you to program shapes and animations using JavaScript. I think that people might be interested in processing because of how you can develop your own games and how you can make very fun interactive animations. During this week I made a very cool animation, I think on making it a pong game in the future.

Arduino

Arduino is an open-source physical computing platform designed to make experimenting  with electronics more fun and intuitive, I like Arduino because it has thousands of potential uses, from making blinking LED, to making your own robots.                                      

Binary

Binary is the language that machines use, binary is also known as base 2. The only possible values in base 2 are 0 and 1, these two numbers represent an electric impulse, either it´s on or off. How to convert binary numbers to decimal:
